A new college campus in the heart of Port Talbot
About the project
A new town centre campus for NPTC Group of Colleges on the Harbourside regeneration area in Port Talbot, procured through WEPCo. It will take over the courses currently run from the Afan college site.
The main building will host specialist facilities for health and social care and for building services engineering, together with art, design and science. A second building will house hair, beauty and holistic therapies, operating as a commercial salon for the public.
With only a coffee shop on site, students will be encouraged to use town centre cafés and shops, bringing extra footfall to local businesses. The campus is around 12,410 m² and will serve about 1,400 students.
